Ryan has focused on sustainability issues through his work, studies, and volunteer activities since 1987 and brings the breath of his knowledge to bear on a variety of projects including LEED certification and energy audits of existing buildings. At Green Insight, Ryan leads the strategic direction of the company, coordinates the staff, manages partnerships, and makes sure we are continuously improving at everything we do for our clients. He still loves the field work, so he can sometimes be spotted in the field working on various projects.

Ryan has served as Green Rater and/or HERS Rater on over 75 projects, certifying nearly 3000 dwelling units including the world's first international LEED home (Sailfish Home, Cayman Islands). Ryan currently serves on the Board of Directors of the New Mexico Water Collaborative, which provides resources for the people of New Mexico to facilitate the implementation of water conservation strategies, and to educate our communities about critical water issues.
